ファンタジーが売るのはスケール感と期待であって、ごちゃごちゃした要素ではありません。以下のプロンプトは、世界規模のアイデアをひとつだけ読者に示します。門、紋章、空の玉座。そして画面の上部を空けておきます。Cinzelのタイトルが収まるのは、そこだからです。
ファンタジー表紙の構図の考え方
- アイデアはひとつ、世界規模で。門、王冠、橋。読者がひと目でその期待をつかめるようにします。
- 人物はスケールを示すために使い、物語を語らせるためには使いません。小さな人影は山を巨大に見せますが、大きな人物はそれをポートレートに変えてしまいます。
- 空を残します。ファンタジーのタイトルは縦に長く装飾的なので、上3分の1にゆとりがあるほど高級感が出ます。
